How To Check Up On Your Partner Secretly

This isn't an article I'm real happy to be writing, but I think it is something you or someone you care about may need. Do you have reason to suspect that your husband, wife, or significant other is unfaithful? If so, you may want to check for phone numbers you don't recognize. Doing reverse phone number checks on numbers you don't recognize can be an easy and discreet way to either confirm your suspicions or put your mind at ease. If you want to go this route, keep reading.

According to friends who have been cheated on, cell phones and unlisted numbers (in other words, numbers that aren't easily traced) are a common method for people to communicate when having an affair. So an easy way to check up on things is to use a reverse phone directory to check any number you don't recognize and find out who it belongs to. Unfortunately for you, if something is going on, they are likely to be using hard-to-trace cell phone numbers and/or unlisted numbers. If they are, the free reverse phone directories you can find all over the Internet won't be of much use.

At the same time, you don't want to spend a fortune checking innocent phone numbers either. So what do you do?

Here's the Process I Recommend

  1. Make sure you don't do this using the same computer as the person you suspect of misbehaving. Some of the people I know who have been in this situation report that their cheating partner would check web browser logs and the like to make sure that they weren't being spied upon. So make sure you do this using a computer that the person you suspect won't have access to.
  2. Enter the phrase "reverse phone check" (without the quotation marks) into your favorite search engine. You will be presented with a large list of free reverse phone directory websites. Enter all the suspicious phone numbers you have into one or two of these and see which you can get information on and which you can't.
  3. Assuming your worst fears were not confirmed in step 2, you need to enter any numbers you couldn't find information on into a reverse phone search site like Reverse Phone Detective. For a fee, this service will provide you with detailed information on almost any phone number in the United States, including cellular numbers and unlisted numbers. They can do this because they pay to get access to a wide range of sources that you and I don't have access to. You should be able to get the information you need on virtually any number using this service.

That's it. I hope that if you need to use this process it provides you with peace of mind rather than evidence of bad behavior.
